MEET THE CHEF

Mathieu hails from the sunny South of France and has always had a passion for cooking, nurtured by his Mum and Grandma. His professional culinary journey began at 18 under the mentorship of Chef Patrick Guiltat at a renowned restaurant in Montpellier. He then honed his skills alongside Michelin-starred chefs like Christian TΓͺtedoie, Davy Tissot, and Paul Bocuse in the city of Lyon, the French gastronomic capital. After years of culinary exploration, he settled in Australia, spending 7 years as Head Chef at Chez Pierre. Now, he has embarked on a new adventure, pursuing his lifelong dream of combining his two greatest loves: wine and food, with the founding of Intuition.
